QSSA 2025

Founded when the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted traditional education, the Quarantine Summer School for Animation is a passion project made by young artists, for young artists. That first year, our goal was to provide structure to students who wouldn't otherwise have access to it, fostering a supportive community of artists from all reaches of the world.  

Since then, QSSA has garnered hundreds of graduates and proven an overwhelming success year after year. We've realized that a free, remote learning option is an essential resource even as traditional education becomes available again.

Our mission is to continue making animation accessible to students across the globe, and to foster the skills, relationships, and passions of the next generation of animators.
